After that flop I found the most underrated baby monitor in the market by accident - the Momcozy Baby Monitor.  I love this thing because it has a range of hi-tech features that prioritize safety, it’s easy to use and it is worth the money. So let’s talk more about key features and benefits and let me save you some time and research energy. What's in the Momcozy box?

When I opened the box there was the camera, the screen for me to monitor and two chargers. It took me about 10 minutes to get everything set up. Not bad because I am not techy at all! I also could do it by myself.

This just means there is encryption technology that protects your privacy and prevents unauthorized access. I had some peace of mind knowing someone wasn’t hacking into my baby’s room!

There is also a two-way talk feature that lets you communicate with your little one. It’s nice to know you can comfort your baby with the sound of your voice from any room in the house. You can stay connected to your baby from anywhere in your home. And what’s really cool is you can adjust the camera angle and zoom in or out without being in the room.

The image is so clear even when it's really dark. The infrared night vision technology provides clear visuals even in complete darkness. I was surprised how clear it was compared to my other monitor.

‍It monitors temperature

I live in Florida and it gets hot! The baby monitor lets you monitor the temperature and it lets you know if the temp goes above/below a certain range. It’s also displayed on the screen. I like seeing how hot/cold the room is so I know what swaddle and jammies to use. 

‍It can grow with your family

I don’t think I’m ready for number two (too soon lol), but it’s nice to know I don’t need to buy a whole new system! If you plan for a growing family or want to keep your babies in multiple rooms it's easy (and affordable) to add on cameras. You have to buy a separate camera, but the view you get on the monitor when you do use two cameras is very sleek. 

‍You can take this to Grandma’s

We don’t travel much (yet). But we definitely plan on it  - even if just for a trip to my moms for a few hours and we love that it's easy to pack up and bring along. This is because it’s light and packs up in a little case. You just need to have secure wifi.

‍Long battery life 

The monitor unit of the Momcozy Video Baby Monitor has a rechargeable battery that seems to last for about 12 hours with the screen on and 22 hours with the screen off and voice on. The battery definitely lasts all day, and I just keep it plugged in at my desk with a USB charger when I’m working. If I forget, I charge it while I sleep on my nightstand.

Compared to other baby monitors like the Nanit and other competitors it's nearly half the price and it also won a few awards this year including the National Parenting Products Award and the Mom's Choice Award in 2023
